Advantages of Catamarans

Why should you rent a catamaran instead of a monohull? Your choice depends on the circumstances and sailing ambitions.

Catamarans are great choice for those who have never sailed before and feel a bit uncomfortable. Well, catamarans are stable and do not heel a lot, actually never more than 5 degrees and most often less.

This makes your navigation less tiring and more pleasant. Furthermore, reefing in heavy weather is not done on a rolling slippery deck, not to mention roomy cabins, large salon and comfort it provides.
The advantages are endless indeed. Today’s catamarans sail faster than a similar length monohull and their small draft allows anchoring in shallow bays or very close to beaches.
