Komiza is a town on the western coast of Vis island, located in the Adriatic sea. It is situated just below the hill Hum. Komiza is one of those typical small and authentic Mediterranean towns and due to its climate, turists arrive in all seasons. Komiza's inhabitants have always been proud of its past as a fisherman village and you can confirm that not only talking to local people but also visiting the Fishing Museum which is situated in old Venetian Towe. Town's patron saint is St.Nicholas.
