Rogoznica is a town and port in the bay, 25 km distance from south of Sibenik. Major occupations are farming, fishing and tourism. The resort is situated on a peninsula which divides the cove of Luka Rogoznica, divided into western and eastern parts. The cove of Rogoznica east of Cape Ploce is a good shelter for yachts. Rogoznica is a small town at the end of northern Dalmatia, once a famous fishing village and now recognizable tourists destination. Center of old town is located on the island connected with the bridge, but totally separated from the rest of the world.
