In the Area:
Skradin is a small town on the shore of the river Krka about 15km inland from the coast. It is one of Croatia’s oldest settlements, having been established as a town in the 2nd century BC and was the spot of the Illyrian settlement of Scardona. Skradin is most famous for the waterfalls of Skradinski Buk, and boats drawing up to two meters can navigate the river to the waterfalls.
