Ancoraggio è il luogo dove le barche e le navi stano per partire per un lungo periodo. Questo tipo di collegamento è costituito da un peso elevato (di solito cemento), o ancora, catena e boa. L’ancoraggio è utilizzato in luoghi che non consentono la vendita abbinata di barche lungo la costa o in zone dove le barche e le altre navi lasciate continuamente in acqua e lungo la costa non c’è abbastanza spazio per tutti. Boe hanno forme molto diverse, ma la barca è di solito accompagnata da rafforzare la corda è legata a una catena sotto, o corda legata ad un anello in cima.
