1. When is the best time to sail on Adriatic? BACK TO TOP
For more experienced sailors, we recommend May, early June and September. This time of year the weather is warm, sea temperature is great for swimming and you’ll avoid the crowds and rush of the high season. Early spring and late autumn are also good sailing times, the weather is pleasantly warm, but the sea temperatures are only for hot-blooded swimmers.
For those less experienced, we recommend summer months – the wind is softer and there are many other boats around.

2. I don't want to hire a skipper; what licences do I need to navigate a yacht? BACK TO TOP
To navigate a vessel you are required to have a valid international recreational craft license and a radio certificate. If you don't have them, you need to take a short course and exam to get them in all Port Authorities in Croatia. When renting a vessel, you also need to certify the crew list. All changes to this list must be reported to the Port Authority.

3. Are yachts and yacht crew insured? BACK TO TOP
Yes, all yachts and crew on board are fully insured against all accidents.

4. What should I bring with me on board? BACK TO TOP
You should bring your own towels, wind jackets, medications against seasickness, antibiotics against high temperature, something against insect bites, etc.

5. At what time can we embark and disembark? BACK TO TOP
Embarkation is at Saturday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. but it can be sooner if the boat is cleaned earlier- just contact us and we will inform you is it possible to embark hour or two earlier then 05:00 p.m. You have to disembark at Saturday morning before 8:00 or 9:00 a.m.

6. What is the standard 7-days route? Is any other route possible? BACK TO TOP
You are free to discuss your route with your captain but there are few standard, which are the best because they give you opportunity to see as much as possible in 7 days.
Check our standard routes here: ROUTES

7. We have small children. What do you recommend for their safety? BACK TO TOP
If you have small children on a sailing boat, a safety net can be installed (additional charge). And if you are sailing with a motor boat, we recommend a fly bridge type, or a catamaran, which is the most stabile.

8. Do we have to pay for skipper's food during our trip? BACK TO TOP
Yes, you have to pay for skipper's food no matter do you eat in restaurant or on board.

9. Is the skipper responsible for cleaning the yacht? BACK TO TOP
Skipper is not responsible for cleaning the yacht, but he will usually do it if the boat is in marina and if there is plenty of water on board or at shore.

10. Is skipper/crew on board all the time? BACK TO TOP
Yes. The skipper is always on board. If there is more than one crew members, when the guests are not on board, not all of them need to be there, but at least one always stays on board. Skipper and the crew also sleep on board.

11. Is there a safe parking place in marina where I can leave my car and what is the price for 7 days? BACK TO TOP
In most marinas there will be enough parking place during whole season and the price for 7 days is about 25-30 EURO.

12. How do I book a boat? BACK TO TOP
The procedure is quite simple: send us your request for destination and boat type by e-mail or by filling out the booking inquiry on our web site. We’ll check for availability and contact you. When we’ve reached an agreement, we send you a contract to sign and all the information about payment and other details. All the communication is made via e-mail or facsimile.
For more detailed description of the procedure and vacation planning you can check booking info.

13. What happens when I fill a booking inquiry? BACK TO TOP
After you had sent your inquiry, you haven't booked a boat yet. Your request had been submitted, and we’ll contact you by e-mail to let you know whether we can fill your request. After that we will correspondent via e-mail or facsimile to reach an agreement.

14. Is it possible to charter a boat through your agency from any other day than Saturday? BACK TO TOP
We usually, like the most of other agencies, in the high season charter our boats from Saturday to Saturday - renting our boats on some other day is possible before or after high season when we have more available boats.

15. What is included in the charter price and what do I have to pay extra? BACK TO TOP
In the charter price besides the use of the boat are also included bed linen and kitchen pottery and you have to pay extra for outboarder, spinnaker, final cleaning, parking place in marina, marina fees, fuel and crew (if not indicated differently on our web page).
